MA. ANTÒNIA HERNÀNDEZ I SUBIRACHS, ANTONIO CARRETERO, SÒNIA FERRÉ

The Espai [b] gallery presents large-scale works of three artists that invite us to be part of a surrounding game of vibrant shapes and colors that flow rhythmically. They three provide us a hipersensorial experience by rich and complex universes, at the same time organic and artificial. We see energy in movement and constant transformation so the sensuality of the pictorial material gains prominence.

ANTONIO CARRETERO works in the OVER-L series, to which belong the works now on exhibition, in full freedom, without technical, stylistic or thematic restrictions. He explores the structural complexity, dynamic rhythms and uses color as an expressive vehicle resulting in an explosion of color, exuberance and fluidity.

SÒNIA FERRÉ combines musical heartbeat rhythm captured in vibrant and electric colors and shapes. He speaks of impulses, where technological and biological connections are very similar and merge in the particular universe that she presents.

MA. ANTÒNIA HERNÀNDEZ I SUBIRACHS explores organic beauty with natural colors and shapes of great complexity and simplicity at a time. The atmosphere, which you can almost breathe among fuzzy colour stains, leads us to a landscapes of slow rhythms where we can move find absolute calm.

In all three cases we find gravitational forces of energies flowing as if they were living organisms in constant evolution. We can go from the frenetic pace of the works of Sònia Ferré and dynamic flow of paintings by Antonio Carretero to find calm in the compositions of Ma. Antònia Hernàndez i Subirachs.
